Exploration
One of the major goals I have this summer is to let my boy have FUN learning and exploring.
A block of time that I have set aside I have called, "Exploration" time. I think it will be a success. Tonight I brought out a few of the things from the Playdough bucket I bought. My son was content for over an hour. His favorite was the little press. I love to watch him be a kid! Is this learning? I think it is. Sensory, cause and effect, art, etc. Love Early Childhood.
I bought this cute little set at Lakeshore. As I was browsing their website, I noticed that they have teacher resources, lesson plans and printables available. Got some cute little ladybugs I plan to use for maybe a counting game.
Wow, I'm pretty sure those would entertain me for an hour too.
